A surrealist film set on the island of Qeshm in the Strait of Hormuz, in 1965, in the aftermath of the assassination of Iranian Prime Minister Hassan Ali Mansour. Three individuals? a police inspector, a sound engineer and a geologist? They are in charge of investigating the suspicious death of a political exile. The other conundrum that the trio will have to solve is because, each time someone is buried on the island, an earthquake occurs and someone disappears. -RT
