Sinopsis (slo):
Leto 1916, predvečer arabske vstaje. Deček Theeb, katerega ime pomeni volk, živi na puščavskem obrobju Osmanskega cesarstva. Po očetovi smrti ga vzgaja starejši brat Hussein, ki dečka uči beduinskih vrednot in načina življenja. Nekega dne se v njunem taboru pojavi britanski oficir z arabskim vodnikom na skrivnostni misiji. Hussein prišlekoma ne more odreči pomoči, saj tako veli beduinski običaj. Zato se odpravi na pot, da bi ju privedel do cilja.
